Black Friday Approaching

There's only a few days left until Black Friday and it got me thinking… As a child, I remember seeing huge deals that people would wait outside for hours waiting to snag the hottest new item- but now Black Friday shopping is so uneventful. The sales are just not worth it. Plus, you can easily order the item by the click of a button. Amazon has really transformed how we look at shopping. It makes me sad though because the experience was fun and got people excited. It was almost in a sense its own holiday. I want stores to bring these deals back and get people shopping in stores again!

A tragic school shooting occurred this week, a story that we all know far too well. A fourteen-year-old boy entered his school with a gun on September 4, 2024, and killed two of his classmates and two teachers. It was the 45th school shooting incident of this year. The story hit individuals all around the world as we take a look at this growing problem. What made such a young individual capable of such a horrific act and why is this happening more frequently? Every individual has their own viewpoints on why gun violence is occurring rapidly right now. Various opinions exist about whether guns or the people who own them are the problem. The Beginning

Does anyone else have no idea what they are wanting to do with their future? I am a twenty year old college student and can't make my mind up about what show to watch. Nevertheless, what major I am supposed to pursue. Some days I wake up thinking I have my entire future planned out, and then the next I am just lost. This adulting thing is not all its cracked up to be. I remember being young and wanting to grow up so desperately, but now all I wish is to go back to simpler times. I want to create this blog to share my experiences as well as document my growth as a person. I hope that others can connect to my stories and feel seen.

Debate Time

This week we got to see the two presidential candidates, Donald Trump (Republican) and Kamala Harris (Democrat), go head to head in a fierce televised debate. The debate drew in an astonishing 67.1 million viewers and unsurprisingly stirred up controversy. This debate was hard for me to watch because I feel like the respect between the two parties has been demolished in recent years. Our country is divided by our differing political views and individuals are becoming extremely intolerant to others who do not believe in their beliefs. Individuals are so set on being right, they lose the ability to see the other perspective and would rather prove a point. In our society, I feel as if individuals are so opposed to hearing any other viewpoint that does not align exactly with their points.
